How to apply
To become a member of the Teaching Council of Aotearoa (TCA) you should complete this form and post to the TCA with the documentation and fees. Your application can be considered under either of the following two categories:
Category One:
If you hold or have held a practising certificate from the Teacher Registration Board you will be considered for membership without having to send copies of documentation.
OR
Category Two:
You submit evidence of your qualifications, training, ongoing professional development and/or learning, in any field, as well as evidence of practical teaching experience. This will be assessed against criteria established by the interim membership committee.
